Location: Howard Waterfowl Search

Details: The Fall 2013 Howard County Waterfowl Search was a disappointing one, but not unexpected after several days of southerly winds. The day dawned foggy, but it soon lifted, and cloudy skies followed. A hopeful six (plus leader) showed up any way We found 31 species, only six of which could be considered waterfowl. The trip visited the Columbia Lakes: Lake Elkhorn, Lake Kittamaqundi, Wilde Lake, and Centennial Lake.
